What is remote support?

Remote or online support is when we directly connect to your computer from our computer. There is no need to install any software or alter your computer in any way. However, you do need to make an appointment for online support.

How long does a typical service call take?

It usually takes 1 – 3 hours. There are situations where it may take longer. In almost all cases, it is necessary to check out the computer to determine what course of action is needed to fix the problem. Our hourly service rate is $90, with a minimum one-hour service call.

What information is needed to properly assess a computer problem?

Scot Fixes PCs provides the best computer support available. To help us serve you better, call us for a free 15 minute assessment. Or, send an email describing your computer problems as best you can, so we can get you back up and running as quick as possible. It would be most helpful, if you could include any error messages, stop codes, screen captures and computer behavior during the phone call or email that you send.

Do you charge for travel?

55.5 cents per mile is charged for travel to your home or business.

What type of payment do you accept?

Checks, cash, and all major credit cards.

Do you work on Apple computers?

Yes, we service Apple computers.
